  • Stranger Danger Safety

    Sun 21 Mar 2021
Last week Mrs Fraser was alerted to some issues within the local and wider community, involving strangers hanging around school. She acted swiftly in contacting staff, parents, the High School and the local nursery, in order to keep them on alert and to ensure that update and relevant learning took place in school to help educate the children about stranger danger and keeping themselves safe. We can report that all children took place in sessions around stranger danger and thar Year 6 in particularly, had wonderful knowledge of this subject matter and were able to demonstrate what steps outside of school, their family had also made in order to keep themselves safe. Well done parents for downloading special apps on the children's phones and reinforcing the messages we gave out to the children. As we said, this was not to scare children, but to keep them informed and to educate them on current issues that could have a negative impact on them. You will have seen SLT on the gates and this will remain in place for safety reasons. It will also give you a chance to catch up with leaders and ask questions, as you see them .
  • Welcome back To Acorn HeadQuarters

Mon 08 Mar 2021 Jo Knowles

Today we are absolutely delighted to welcome our children back to Kidsgrove Primary. The staff were so excited and the children came into school beaming and eager to learn. We have had a wonderful morning of learning and attendance today was 99.7%. This is sensational!

We can't wait for the rest of the week!
