Hi there, my name is Nicola Cartwright and I am thrilled to be teaching at Kidsgrove Primary school for a second year.
My journey of working with children began over 30 years ago, and I am very lucky that this path has taken me around the world. Most recently in Australia were I spent 14 years raising my family and working in the Australian education system. It was an experience I will never forget and along with all my other roles over the years it. has made me the person I am today.
You will often find me in dress ups and singing down the corridors as my crazy antiques (otherwise known as being bonkers!!) means that the children have fun whilst they learn. I was never a big fan of school and there for make it my own private mission for all those in my care develop a passion for learning.
My other big passion in life is my dog Jinny. The children are for ever asking what she has been up too!!! She is a very cheeky and sometimes mischievous beagle!
