🌟Meet the staff ðŸŒŸ

Miss Morrey ðŸŒ¸ – Reception Class Teacher / EYFS lead.

A very warm welcome to you all! I am Miss Morrey and I am the Reception class teacher and the EYFS leader. After several years of working in previous Schools across the key stages, I joined Kidsgrove primary school back in the Spring term of 2017 as the Nursery class teacher and haven’t looked back since. Over the years I have had the privilege of welcoming many of our current students through our EYFS doors. I have always taught our Nursery children in the past, and this year is the first year of me moving to our Reception class, which has been a refreshing change and a wonderful opportunity for myself. I am looking forward to getting stuck in this year. ðŸ™‚

As EYFS lead, I take care of all the day to day needs of both the Nursery and Reception class. I work with a wonderful team of ladies (also known as the Dream Team!) and we all have one thing in common; we are 100% here for the children.

Miss Fulcher ðŸŒ¸ – Reception Class Teacher / NQT

This academic year we are excited to welcome Miss Fulcher, who will be co-teaching the Reception class alongside myself. She will take over as the Reception class teacher when I go on maternity leave in April 2021. Miss Fulcher is an NQT and this is her first year teaching with us. She is full of enthusiasm, new ideas and energy and is ready to help our Reception children shine! We are excited to help and support her on her journey with us as she completes her first year of teaching with us here at Kidsgrove.

Mrs Tomlinson ðŸŒ¸ – Reception Class Teaching Assistant.

Mrs Tomlinson is our wonderful Reception class teaching assistant and my much needed right arm! She is the sugar to my tea and we have worked together in EYFS since the beginning, first in the Nursery and now in the Reception class. She is an absolute asset to our Early Years department and has been working at our school for several years now, having taught even our oldest children when they were fresh faced acorns back in the Nursery class all those years ago. She will be working alongside and supporting Miss Fulcher in maintaining those high standards that we pride ourselves on here at Kidsgrove.

Mrs Cartwright ðŸŒ¸ – Nursery Early Years Practitioner

A very warm welcome this academic year to Mrs Cartwright, who has joined us from one of the schools in our Trust. She is an experienced Early Years practitioner and our Nursery room lead this year. She has settled into our EYFS department an absolute treat and is already well-loved by staff and children. She is full of energy and her bubbly personality shines through. We can always hear her singing and dancing with the children as they take part in their daily learning in her class - they sure are a lively bunch who love to learn and have fun!

Miss Carr ðŸŒ¸ – Nursery Play Worker

Miss Carr is our lovely Play Worker who will be working alongside Mrs Cartwright in the Nursery this year. She has worked at our school for several years and is well-loved by parents and children. Miss Carr particularly enjoys small-world and role play activities with the children and you can often find her in the ‘hair salon’ or the ‘home corner’ engaging in some much needed, quality social play and interaction with our little ones.

And there you have it. Our wonderful EYFS team in a nutshell. We work hard, we have fun and we 100% believe in our children.

🌟We believe. They achieve. ðŸŒŸ
